Itinerary is as important as your passport when travelling abroad or outside your home country. It’s one of the most accessible proofs you can show to the immigration that you have no plans of staying beyond the granted stay in the foreign country. Whether you are the one who made the itinerary or not, each one of the group should be knowledgeable with it.
Just like what happened to our previous trip heading to Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, James who confidently lined up first was speechless by the time he was asked to which country we were going first. haha The only thing he did was stared back at me because I, the one who made the IT, was the last one in line so I funnily passed our IT papers to him. That was so far the trip that had the most bloopers in immigration. Starting from Cebu airport, our third companion was held by the immigration for further questions followed by what I previously mentioned which took place in Singapore and lastly at the Malaysian immigration when the three of us were accompanied by immigration officers to their office.
Thus, bringing a copy of your itinerary is really important. This then, led me to make a itinerary template booklet that does not only contain the itinerary but the plane tickets, accommodation and travel budget as well. This prevents you from finding the loose papers on your bag as to which the IT is or plane ticket because everything can be found in one booklet. You also get to track your expenses because of the travel budget summary of the whole trip. Plus, at the bottom of each daily itinerary is rectangular box where you can jot down some notes.
So, below checkout what’s inside this itinerary template booklet.
The itinerary template booklet can cover up to 10 days itinerary but you can always improvise because you have the control as the download links from my dropbox are below.
Raw doc file is definitely raw which is not edited like a booklet.
